Currently, the HNRN research is focusing on the:

  • Functional outcomes following oncological treatment for oral cancer
  • Direct and indirect costs associated with different treatment modalities for oropharyngeal cancer
  • Functional outcomes in patients undergoing microvascular reconstruction for osteoradionecrosis of the mandible
  • Functional outcomes after pharyngo-esophageal (PE) reconstructive surgery

 

Proposals will be reviewed by the HNRN Research Committee on the following criteria:

  • Clarity of the research question(s) and rationale, as well as appropriateness of the research design and methods
  • Availability and accessibility of HNRN resources to conduct the research
  • Suitability of the environment to conduct the research
