Core Team Member

Dr. Tero Soukka, DDS, PhD, Adjunct Professor, is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Head Physician of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases, Turku University Hospital.  Dr. Soukka graduated in 1991 from the Institute of Dentistry, University of Turku.  He completed specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002 and received his PhD in 1993.  He has published 25 articles on oral tumorigenesis, oral defense mechanisms and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
