Dr. Juhani Laine, DDS, PhD, Adjunct Professor, is Maxillofacial Prosthodontist in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases, Turku University Hospital. Dr. Laine graduated from the University of Turku in 1979, completed specialist training in Prosthetic Dentistry in 1989 and obtained his PhD in 1999. Since 1991, he has worked as a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and postgraduate teacher at the University of Turku. Dr. Laine has published 30 original articles and book chapters concerning oral medicine and oral rehabilitation of patients with tissue deficiencies related to surgery of head and neck cancer and other acquired or developmental defects.
