iRSM hosted the initial meeting of the Core Team to found the HNRN.  iRSM also acts as the Coordinating Center for the network by providing administrative support for services related to the research conducted through the HNRN.  iRSM (formerly known as COMPRU) is a world leader in clinical research for patients with head and neck defects and is comprised of a wide range of health professionals including prosthodontists, plastic surgeons, head and neck surgeons, radiation oncologists, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, anaplastologists, dental hygienists, industrial and visual communications designers, and clinical assistants.
